Why We Exist
The NHS aims to provide the best quality of care, which is patient-centered and cost-effective, but this is extremely complex as there are constant changes. The NHS needs to continually shape and evolve its services to keep up with current technology and meet the needs of service users.
Mission of HEE London NCEL
The Mission of Health Education North Central and East London LETB is: “To deliver excellence in multi-disciplinary education, training and workforce development, in response to current and future needs, in order to provide the best possible outcomes and experiences for patients and people”
The NSHCS encourages LETBs to form trainee networks to support you as our future HCS leaders to have a voice, to partake in achieving the mission of the LETB, to play an active role in the NHS drive and develop into HCS clinical leaders who are able to manage and lead services.
HCS trainee networks can provide the collaborative voice required to promote the work we do, enhance teamwork with different professionals, across different services and as such improve healthcare and patient experience. You can improve patient care by sharing your placement experience and provide suggestions to improve training and placement support. The trainee network is where you can take the first steps in developing your leadership potential.
